Research On Relationship Between TCM Dialectical Type And Diverse Risk Factors Of Cardiovascular Disease And Resistin In Patients Of Hypertension

Objective: To observe the relationship between TCM dialectical type of hypertension and diverse risk factors of cardiovascular disease, providing evidence for the early intervention and treatment in patients of hypertension. To analyze the relationship between the resistin and hypertension, then provide objective index for the diagnosis and TCM dialectical type of hypertension. Methods: 2200 people who joined the healthy physical examination were included in the study and were divided into two groups according to Chinese hypertension preventing and controlling guide 2005: hypertension group and healthy control group, then deferred to the Guideline about clinical research of new traditional Chinese drugs, the hypertension group was divided into three groups: A group (Yin-deficiency group, randomly choose 20cases); B group (Accumulation of Phlegm-Damp group, randomly choose 20cases); C group (Liver-fire group, randomly choose 20cases); D group (healthy control group, randomly choose 20cases). All cases were recorded the sex, age, smoking history, drinking history, BMI, FPG, blood pressure, renal function, uric acid and serum resistin. Results: There is significant difference between the hypertension group and the control group(P<0.05), and moreover, the concentration of serum resistin in Accumulation of Phlegm-Damp group is higher than Yin-deficiency group and Liver-fire group(P<0.01). According to the Logistic regression analysis, smoking(OR=24.991,P=0.002) is the most significant risk factor of hypertension with Yin-deficiency, BMI(OR=1.965,P=0.002), resistin(OR=5.817,P=0.019), TC(OR=61.281,P=0.019) are the significant risk factors of hypertension with Accumulation of Phlegm-Damp, HDL-C(OR=0.000,P=0.009)is the protect factor of hypertension with Accumulation of Phlegm-Damp, FPG(OR=2.952,P=0.034), LDL-C(OR=13.640,P=0.048)are the significant risk factors of hypertension with Liver-fire. Conclusion: Resistin can be a new predictor of hypertension; smoking is the risk factor of hypertension with Yin-deficiency, BMI, resistin, TC are the risk factors of hypertension with Accumulation of Phlegm-Damp, HDL-C is the protect factor of hypertension with Accumulation of Phlegm-Damp, FPG, LDL-C are the risk factors of hypertension with Liver-fire. These objective index can provide evidence for TCM Dialectical Type of hypertension, and helpful to objectification and quantification of TCM Dialectical Type.
