【Objective】To investigate the correlation between degree of blood-stasis syndrome(BSS) of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) and renal pathology and cliniclal features in patients with Chronic allograft nephropathy(CAN).【Methods】Patients were enrolled with CAN conforming to the inclusive and exclusive criteria, and their degree of BSS were scored before renal biopsies. The correlation of the renal pathological type and clinical indexes and the BSS score were analyzed. The clinical included age and course of transplantation and renal function and haemoglobin and so on.【Results】(1)Among the 64 patients,50 cases(78.1%) were diagnosised as BSS,with the degree of moderate in 36 cases and severe in 14 cases;(2)The BSS score of CAN BanffⅠis 26.75±1.98 and the BSS score of CAN BanffⅡis 35.84±6.05 and the BSS score of CAN BanffⅢis 48.43±4.93.That indicated the BSS degree was significantly correlated with the renal Banff classification. (3) The BSS score in the patients with albuminuria and hypertension and hyperlipemia was significantly higher than that in the patients without.(4)The BSS score was significantly correlation with course of transplantation and Triglyeride(TG) and Chole-sterin(CHO)(P<0.05),but showed insignificant correlation with age and Hemoglobin(Hb) and creatinine(Cr) and platelet(PLT) and urea nitrogen(BUN) and uric acid(UA)(P>0.05).【Conclusion】1.BSS is a TCM syndrome most commonly seen in patients with CAN.The renal banff classification of CAN is significantly correlated with the degree of BSS.2.The BSS score in the patients with albuminuria and hypertension and hyperlipemia was significantly higher than that in the patients without.3.The BSS is the important factor in CAN progress course.Activating blood circulation and dissipating blood stasis are necessary in CAN therapy. And the treatment of the complication of albuminuria and hypertension and hyperlipemia is necessary,too.4.The BSS score may be a evaluation for the diagnosis and the therapeutic efficacy of CAN.
