Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Perennial Allergic Rhinitis Of Deficiency Of The Kidney-yang With Modified Bushentuomintang Prescripton

Objective: To observe the therapy effect with the combination of Bushentuomin prescription and cetirizine tablets of perennial allergic rhinitis of deficiency of the kidney-yang, and the changes of interleukin-5(IL-5) and interleukin-9(IL-9). Taking cetirizine tablets group as the control, to objectively evaluate the efficiency and safety of Bushentuomin prescription in treating the perennial allergic rhinitis of deficiency of the kidney-yang ,and further ,discuss the mechanism of action.Methods: 60 patients with perennial allergic rhinitis of deficiency of the kidney-yang are randomly divided into two groups with 30 patients each. The treatment group was treated with the combination of Bushentuomin prescription and cetirizine tablets,while control group was treated with cetirizine tablets only (without Bushentuomin prescripton).After 30 days of treatment ,Both groups were observed the effects in improving clinical syndromes and the serum level of IL-5 and IL-9.Result: (1)The total effective rate of curative effect was 75.8% in treatment group, while 67.9% in control group .There was significant difference between two groups after treatment (P<0.05).(2) Both groups can reduce serum level of IL-5and IL-9 (P<0.01), and the difference between the treatment group and the control group was significant(P<0.01).Conclusion: Bushentuomin prescripton had extract curative effect in PAR,it was related with which can reduce serum level of IL-5and IL-9. It can improve the organismof the immunity mechanism, and further, improve the clinical symptom. It is the safe effective drug of traditional Chinese medicine.
