Clinical Study Of Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency Vertigo Treated With Chinese Drugs Of Detoxicating And Promoting Collaterals

Objective: To study the curative effect of Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency Vertigo treated with the removing toxin and activating collaterals herbal medicines, and to discuss the mechanisms of this therapy. Methods: 60 cases were divided into 2 groups at random, 30 cases in treatment group and 30 cases in control group. The removing toxin and activating collaterals herbal medicines and routine Western medicine were administrated to the cases of treatment group. Aspirin Enteric-coated Tablets, Simvastatin Tablets and routine western medicine were administrated to the cases of control group. Changes of clinical syndromes , signs and lab indexes were detected before and after treatment. Results: 8 weeks later ,we found total effective rate of treatment group was 96.67%, compared with control group, there was predominant difference (P<0.05). At the same time , we found this therapy can lower TC,TG,LDL,WBC,HCT,Fg,TXB2,ET, and improve NO,6-keto-PGF1a ,compared with control group, there were predominant differences (P<0.05 or (P<0.01). Conclusions: The method of removing toxin and activating collaterals to prevent and treat Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency Vertigo was testified to be effective.
