Clinical Study On Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Coexisted With Rheumatoid Arthritis With Jiangtangtongluo Mixture

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Jiangtangtongluo mixture in treating type 2 Diabetes Mellitus coexisted with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Methods:60 patients diagnosed type 2 Diabetes Mellitus coexisted with Rheumatoid Arthritis were randomly classified into two groups.Under the basic premise of reducing the blood plasma glucose, 30 patients were treated with Jiangtangtongluo mixture in treated group,others were treated with capsules of TGP (Mofulin) in control group.All of the groups were treated four 4 weeks as a course,taken for 2 courses. Results: Jiangtangtongluo mixture could improve the singns and symptoms obviously.The difference was singnificant compared to the control group(P<0.05).And it also could decrease fasting blood glucose (FBG) ,2 hours postprandial blood glucose (PBG) and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) obviously superior to the control group (P<0.05);improve immune and inflammatory indicators erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),C-reactive protein (CRP),rheumatoid factor (RF) obviously superior to the control group (P<0.05).And that there had been no adverse reaction in the course of treatment. Conclusion:Clinical observation had proved Jiangtangtongluo mixture can treat this disease effectly and have no obvious adverse effects.It is worth studying deeply and developing further.
