Treating Protrusion Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc With Fufangdanshen Via Caudal Injection And Effects On IgG And IgM In Serum

[Object](1) To observe the clinical curative effect of fufangdanshen treating LIDP via Sacral canal injection contrasting with dexamethasone;Investigate the feasibility of fangdanshen injection treating LIDP via Sacral canal injection instead of dexame- thasone;provide clinical material on treating LIDP via Sacral canal injection.(2) To investigate the correlation between clinical curative and IgG,IgM changes in blood serum.And Compare the difference between two drug.[Materials and methods]We Choosed 60 LIDP patients,18 to 65 years old,divided into two groups in random:Steroid Group(SG) and FuFangDanShen Group(DS),30 patients in each group.SG: dexamethasone 10mg+2%Xylocaine 5ml + VitB₁100mg + VitB₁₂1mg + physiological saline to 30ml;DG:fufangdanshen injection 6ml + 2%Xylocaine 5ml + VitB₁ 100mg + VitB₁₂1mg +physiological saline to 30ml.The drugs were used via Sacral canal,1 time each week and 3 times in sequence.We evaluated the sufferer's clinical curative effect before the second treatment,third treatment and in the 21th day with evaluate criteria.painful degree was recorded respectively with the visual analog score and lumbodynia and skelalgia score before each time of treatment and 7st day after the last treatment;detected IgG and IgM from blood serum before the first treatment and 7st day after the last treatmen.[Results](1) Observation of curative effect:At 7th day the total effective rate in DGwas 83.3%, and 70%in SG.;At14th day the total effective rate in DG was 90%,and 83.3%in SG.;At 21st day the total effective rate in DG was 96.7%,and 90%in SG..The effect was good in two groups and DG was better remarkably than SG(p＜0.05).(2) The grades of lumbodynia and skelalgia:The grades of lumbodynia and skelalgia of two groups were improved remarkably(p＜0.05) and DG was better than SG(P＜0.05).(3) The change of IgG and IgM in serum between pre-treatment and post-treatment: The IgG and IgM levels of all patients declined remarkably(p＜0.05) and DG declined more than SG(p＜0.05). [Conclusion]The curative effect of Fufangdanshen treating LIDP via Sacral canal injection is affirmative and better than Dexamethasone remarkably.It can substitute for Dexamethasone to treat LIDP via Sacral canal injection thus to avoid the side effect of hormone.And enlarge the adaptive norm of the treatment.The curative effect was related with the decline of IgG and IgM in serum obviously.So the declined value could be think as a index to judge the effect of LIDP in the future.
