| Objective:To observe the clinical curative effects of treating Phlegm-Turbidity and Blood-Stasis Syndrom of stable angina pectoris by Yixin Decoction and its effects on blood-lipid levels.Methods:60 cases with Phlegm-Turbidity and Blood-Stasis Syndrom of stable angina pectoris either of whom were outpatients or inpatients in department of cardiology of the second hospital of Fuzhou city from May,2006 to December,2007,were selected to this study.They were divided into the Yixin Decoction therapy group(The treatment group)and the regular western therapy group(the control group) by a random,controlled and single blind method.Both of the groups were treated by the regular western medicines named isosorbide dinitrate,aspirin and metoprolol,and the treatment group added to the Yixin Decoction composed of Trichosanthes,Salvia,Allium macrostemon,Tangerine pee,Pinellia temate and Poria cocos,etc.The therapeutic period of the treatment was four weeks.All the lipid-lowering agents and antianginal drugs except for nitric acid ester were classified as prohibited for patients during the treatment period.To observe the changes of symptoms and physical signs,degree of angina pectoris,manifestation of electrocardiogram and the blood-lipid levels before treatment and after treatment.The therapeutic effects were going to be evaluated after the therapeutic period of the treatment was over.Results:1.Comparison of the curative effect of traditional Chinese medical syndrome between two groups:For the treatment group,21 cases were markedly effective,7 cases were effective and 2 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 93.33%.For the control group, 13 cases were markedly effective,11 cases were effective and 6 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 80.00%.The treatment group was superoir to the control group(P＜0.05).2. Comparison of the integral of traditional Chinese medical synptoms between two groups:For the treatment group,the integrals were 14.60±1.83 and 4.60±1.63 before treatment and after treatment respectively.For the control group,the integrals were 14.40±1.45 and 6.30±2.47 before treatment and after treatment respectively.Comparison with themselvs of both of the groups:Integrals of the two groups were reduced very significantly before treatment and after treatment respectively(P＜0.01).Comparison between two groups:The integrals were not significantly different between two groups before treatment.Nevertheless,The integral of the treatment group was distinctively lower than that of the control group after treatment(P＜0.01). 3.The curative effect of angina pectoris:For the treatment group,15 cases were markedly effective,13 cases were effective and 2 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 93.33%.For the control group,8 cases were markedly effective,16 cases were effective and 6 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 80.00%.The treatment group was superoir to the control group(P＜0.05).4.The curative effect of ECG:For the treatment group,18 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective and 3 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 90.00%.For the control group,9 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were effective and 6 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 80.00%.The treatment group was superoir to the control group(P＜0.05).5.Comparison of Changes of blood-lipid levels:For the treatment group,the TC levels were 5.22±0.60mmol/L and 4.84+0.55mmol/L respectively before treatment and after treatment,the LDL-C levels were 2.66±0.61 mmol/L and 2.27±0.62mmol/L respectively,the TG levels were 1.60±0.43mmol/L and 1.34±0.36mmol/L respectively,and the HDL-C levels were 1.11±0.12 mmol/L and 1.18±0.16mmol/L respectively.For the control group,the TC levels were 5.2±0.59mmol/L and 5.15±0.58mmol/L respectively before treatment and after treatment,the LDL-C levels were 2.64±0.62 mmol/L and 2.60±0.62mmol/L respectively,the TG levels were 1.56±0.47mmol/L and 1.54±0.43mmol/L respectively,and the I-IDL-C levels were 1.11±0.13 mmol/L and 1.14±0.15mmol/L respectively.Comparison with themselvs of the two groups:For the treatment group,the blood-lipid Levels of TC,LDL-C and TG were reduced markedly respectively(P＜0.05) before treatment and after treatment.For the control group,none of the Blood-lipid Levels of TC,LDL-C and TG were significantly reduced before treatment and after treatment.For both of the groups,levels of HDL-C were not reduced significantly before treatment and after treatment respectively yet.Comparison between two groups:Aider treatment,blood-lipid Levels of TC,LDL-C,and TG of the treatment group were distinctively lower to the control group respectively(P＜0.05).Speak to the HDL-C level,there was no obvious difference between two groups.Conclusions:Combination of Yixin Decoction and regular western medicines therapy made a better effect on treating Phlegm-Turbidity and Blood-Stasis Syndrom of stable angina pectoris than that of routinely treatment of western medicine alone,for its great effects on relieving symptoms and physical signs,and its function to improve deficiency myocardial blood supply and reduce blood-lipid levels to a certain extent as well.Moreover,it can be safely taken at low cost without any side-effects,thus it is well worth to clinical studying further. |
