The Study On The Influence Of Shengxue Capsule To Telomerase Activity Of Bone Marrow In Myelodyplastic Syndrome-Refractory Anemia

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Shengxue Capsule in treating Myelodyplastic Syndrome-Refractory Anemia(MDS-RA), evaluate the expression of telomerase activity before and after treatment, and reveal the pathogenesis of MDS-RA and effect mecheanism of supplement Shengxue Capsule on MDS-RA.Methods: Sixty cases of MDS-RA were divided into two groups, Thirty patients in treated group were treated with Shengxue Capsule, and the thirty patients in control group were treated with ATRA. Three months was described as one period of treatment. After two periods, clinical effect was observed and the change of hemogram, myelogram were analyze.This experiment also employed ELISA method to exam the change of expression of telomerase activity before and after treatment. Then we compare those in the control group and in the normal group.Results: 1.Shengxue Capsule to MDS-RA can effectively improve clinical symptom and surrounding hemogram , descrease immature cells in bone marrow, it make sick hematopoietic conversion to normal hematopoietic , the degree of which is superior to that in control group(P<0.05).2.The expression of telomerase activity in MDS-RA patients was higher than that in normal group and reduced after treatment. Moreover, the descent in experiment group was superior to that in control group.Conclusion: 1.There was abnormal expression of telomerase activity in MDS-RA patients. 2.hengxue Capsule probably adjust the expression of telomerase activity to improve hematopoiesis in bone marrow. 3.Shengxue Capsule is effctive to treat MDS-RA, and worthy of further study and development.
