Objective:To study the platelet activation in patients with essential hypertention by measuring the platelet aggregation rate and platelet activation factor CD62p.Methods:The study population consisted of 20 cases of essential hypertention(EH) and 18 normal individuals,EH group include of hypertention 1 grade(n=10) and hypertention 2 grade(n=10),who had not received drug therapy; The platelet aggregation rate and the level of platelet activation factor CD62p were measured. The platelet aggregation rate were assessed by Precil LBY-NJ Platelet Aggregation Function Analyzer. The level of platelet activation factor CD62p were measured by flow cytometer(FCM).The data of this study was analysed using t-test.Result:①EH group had significant higher platelet aggregation rate than normal control group(p<0.05),EH 2 Grade group had significant higher platelet aggregation rate than EH 1 Grade group(p<0.05);②The level of CD62p in EH group were higher than those in the normal control group(p<0.01);The level of CD62p in EH 2 group were higher than those in EH 1 Grade group(p<0.01).Conclusion:The level of platelet aggregation rate and CD62p in EH were higher than normal control.Essential hypertention patients had higher platelet activation; The higher the blood pressure, the higher the platelet activation.
