Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation of skin temperature detection and the lower extremity arterial stenosis, and to decide regression equation through the bilateral skin temperature detection as well as the color Doppler Ultrasonography of lower extremity arterial, That was to estimate arterial stenosis degree initially through the skin temperature detection, to provide new forecast index for preventing diabetic foot as soon as possible in clinical works.Methods the study belonged to an observational research, we used the way of direct observation to detect samples which consistent with the internalizing standards in order. Under the appropriate conditions, we measured axillary temperature, skin temperature on feet, and color Doppler ultrasonography of lower extremity artery. Then, we made correlation as well as regression analysis between skin temperatures and level of arterial stenosis.Results there were 50 diabetic foot patients in this research, we discovered 28 patients who had lower extremity arteriopathy. The detection rate was 56%, 16 patients (male), 12 patients (female), we could regard as 56 samples data, among the total, the detection rate of plaque(35 62.5%)was higher than that of IMT(21 37.5%). According to the table 1-2 and color Doppler,â… degree:44,â…¡degree:11,â…¢degree:1. 28 diabetic foot patients had the pathological changes in endarterium which was not smooth or had plaque partly. The plaque resulted lumina stenosis more or less. The inner diameter of dorsal artery of foot is 2.1±0.3 mm, skin temperature is 27.5±1.30C, temperature head is 7.1±1.10C, stenotic degree is 15.5%±10.2%, correlation coefficient(R) is 0.800, regression equation is Y=0.0928X-0.4837 (X: temperature, Y: level of arterial stenosis).Conclusions through this research, we can get the conclusion that temperature head parallel with arterial stenosis, that is the more temperature head, the more stensis degree, vice versa. Skin temperature detection can reflect the arterial stenosis of dorsal artery of foot objectively, which provide a new forecast index for prevent and cure the pathological changes of artery of lower extremity as well as acro-ulcer. Skin temperature detection is a economical,convenient and hammerless method. |
