The Study On Clinical Effect Of SanSiQuBi Recipe Combined With Tuina Manipulation In The Treatment Of Ankylosing Spondylitis

ObjeciveThe purpose of the research was to observe the clinical effect of SanSiQuBi Recipe combined with tuina manipulation in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis(AS)patients.By establishing a matched group,these two groups were compared With after they were treated with different ways.In the same time,they were also compared with themselves before and after the treatment. So we could investigate if SanSiQuBi Recipe combined with tuina manipulation was helpful in the treatment of AS.Therefore a safe and valid project of curing the AS could be explored further with TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine) combined with modern medicine.MethodsThe 47 AS patients were randomly divided into two groups.One was the treatment group,24 AS patients,which were taken orally SanSiQuBi Recipe+tuina manipulation+ sulfasalazine(SASP),the other was the matched group,23 AS patients,which were only taken SASP.By taking down the accounts and making statistcal disposal after three months of treatment,two groups were contrasted on the index of the symptom,mobility of spine(chest expansion,Schober test,Pillow-wall distance,Finger-fields distance)and laboratorial target.The clinical curative effect was evaluated completely.ResultsThe total curative effect of the treatment group was 91.67%,the matched group was 65.22%.Their difference was conspicuous(P＜0.05).On the mobility of spine(chest expansion,Schober test,Pillow-wall distance,Finger-fields distance),the difference of the two groups was evident respectively before and after the treatment(P＜0.05),and the difference between the two groups was obvious(P＜0.05).ConclusionThe observation indicates that SanSiQuBi Recipe combined with tuina manipulation has good effect,and the combination of Traditional Chinese with western medicine(SanSiQuBi Recip+tuina manipulation+SASP)can promote curative effect in the treatment of AS patients.The treatment project of TCM combined with modern medicine is safe and useful.
