The Health Economics Research On China Medical Security Reform

Among many risks that human face, the health risk is the special risk, which is directly related to basic human survival interest. Therefore, As an very important part of social security system, the medical security has become one of the most pressing needs of people and has been paid a lot attention to by various countries.Medical security reform is a worldwide problem. Governments have sought to find a balance between economic target and social goals. China's medical security system was gradually established under the planned economic system after the founding of new China. Before the economic reform, China has found the public medical security, the labor security and the rural cooperative medical system, these system ensure people's health. As China's market economic system gradually established, medical security expenditure is increasingly becoming a heavy burden on government and enterprises, the cooperative medical system also began to collapse, deepening as an important component of the economic system reform, China's medical security system also move towards market-oriented reform road.This paper will apply Health Economics to the study of the medical security system of new China systematically, drawing on international experience and analysis of China's medical security reform process. On the basis of the existing medical security system,this paper give an objective review: The reform was not achieve the desired results, because there are no correct object and reasonable health ideas.Take our country for instance,we didn't take medical security system for production investment and neglected the social equity of medical security in allocating sources.At last,the article concludes with the future of China's medical security system to establish universal coverage of health security system.
