| Objective The study was designed to research the dynamic Changes of peripheral blood CD34+ cells(PBCD34+)in patient with craniocerebral trauma,and the correlation of which between the pathogenetic condition and Prognosis.Meanwhile to investigate the relationship expression of peripheral blood between PBCD34+ cells in the patients with craniocerebral trauma in convalescence stage during hyperbaric oxygen treatment.We also research the role of PBCD34+ at repairing in trauma.Methods in phase 1,38 patients with craniocerebral trauma grouped according to the Glasgow coma Scale(GCS)have been selected..20 normal people for contrast.The PB CD34+ cells were countted dynamicly with ProCOUNT by flow cytometry and WBC were countted dynamicly by automatic cytoanalyze on the 1stday.3rdday,5thday 7thday 14thday.In phase 2,11 patients with craniocerebral trauma in convalescence stage were selected for HBO treatment group,the number of peripheral blood CD34+ cells and WBC has been tested before and in each of the first 5 weeks during the treatment of HBO,11 ordinary people for control group.Results In phase 2,the number of PB CD34+ cells rise after head injuries, contrast with the control group the high GCS score group shows significance in the 7th day and 14thday.the low GCS score group shows significanc in the 3rdday,5thday,7th day 14thday.and the ascensus of PB CD34+ cells in low GCS score group exceed these in high GCS score group.On the 5thday 7thday 14thday showed the significance(P<0.05). WBC set up immediately after head injuries and to descend gradually which has inverse correlation with the change of PBCD34+ cells,in low GCS score group(p<0.05),the PB CD34+ cells in patients who are eusemia(GOS=5)rise earlier and maintain longer time than which in patients who are unfavourable prognosis(GOS<5).In phase 3,during the HBO treatment the Absolute value of PBCD34+ cells shows wave characteristics:the number of PBCD34+ cells reduced in the 1stand the 3rdweeks,but increased in the 2nd and the 5thweeks;the number of PBCD34+ cells in the 2ndand the 5thweeks had statistical significance compared with that of the control group and before the treatment of HBO(p<0.05).In the treatment group,the number of CD34+ cells in the 1stand the 3rd weeks had statistical significance compared to that in the 5thweek(p<0.05).After HBO treatment the average number of CD34+ cells exceed the number before HBO treatment and control group,which have statistical significance(p<0.05).Conclutions 1.there is a self-mobilize PBCD34+ cells after head injuries,organism may via self-mobilize PBCD34+ cells to repair head injurry,2.dynamic monitoring PBCD34+ cells and valuable for the judgement of Prognosis and treatment in craniocerebral trauma.3.HBO can mobilize bone marrow derived stem cells marked by CD34+ cells,and can also participate in the restoration of craniocerebral trauma in convalescence stage via mobilizing CD34+ cells. |
