Flos Ionicerae is a common Chinese traditional medicine, dried budor flower of Lonicera japonica Thunb., Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. , Lonicera confusa DC. or Lonicera macranihoides Hand-Mazz. Picked in early straight dried in sunlight or after fumed by sulfur.We have collected flos lonicerae of different area such as hennan,shandong ,chongqing. HPLC with PDA diode array detector was used to analyze 50% methanol extract of flos lonicerae. We have established HPLC fingerprint spectra of 50% methanol extract. The result showed 11peaks were common. The HPLC-FPS of 18 batches of Flos lonicerae from the different sources are very similar, It is a reliable and effective method with good reproducibility and has practical value to identify and provides the quality information.Firstly, the experimentation in this thesis made some quantity discrimination to 18 batches of flos lonicerae. which is coming from different provinces where are planting honeysuckle. Secondly, the experimentation tests their content of water, draff, undissolved draff from acids and toxicity. Thirdly, using the HPLC mensurates the content of chlorogenic acid(CHA).This dissertation, which uses HPLC and scheme from "Evaluation Standard System to the Similarity of Fingerprints Atlas in the ChineseTraditional Medicine(2004)", prosecutes some researches in Fingerprints Atlas of honeysuckle which include: (1) the selection of chromatogram condition which made some selection and confirmation of various samples by different distill means, distill solvent, the quantity of entered sample, temperature, flowing velocity, checking spectrum wave, the proportion of flowing phases, and method of rushing; (2) methodology which is a research method by calculating the time and RSD of relative area preserved from the peak number of chromatogram, and to assess the apparatus' accuracy and recurring and stability; (3) erecting Fingerprints Atlas which utilizes the calculating results by the program of "Evaluation Standard System to the Similarity of Fingerprints Atlas in the Chinese Traditional Medicine(2004A)" to construct the dactylogram figure by the data of HPLC of 18 batches of Flos lonicerae, and deduce to a complete instituted dactylogram figure; (4) mensurating of samples which is by the technique of collating the dactylogram figures and sample figures from the instituted figures which are deduced from "Evaluation Standard System to the Similarity of Fingerprints Atlas in the ChineseTraditional Medicine(2004A)" and determine the eligibility; (5) the discussing of results which includes discussing the similar impact by checking waves, fleeting time, experiment method and apparatus system; (6) suggestion and prospect which is aim at nowadays some problems in the fingerprint chromatogram and provide some innovational suggestions, furthermore prospect to the developmentof fingerprint chromatogram technology.
