"Migrant worker " is a new form of occupational groups since China's reform and opening up, which plays a significant role in the region's economic development. However, migrant workers are mostly off-farm workers who are often at disadvantages and have more serious psychological burden during a increasing social competition. In addition, with heavy labor intensity, frequent contact with occupational hazards and poor living conditions, they uprooted and engaged in poor work in a long time, which contribute to migrant workers'mental illness. Therefore, concerning about migrant workers'mental health is not just a medical issue, but also an important social issue. To understand the migrant workers'occupational stress and its impact factors, the paper analysis and research on the state of occupational stress of migrant workers in Dongguan City, using random sampling method to choose 1000 migrant workers as a study group from different sectors in Dongguan, while selected 500 household registration staff as a control group in the corresponding enterprises. The study will compare the difference between the age, gender, industry, educational level, overtime hours and length of service to find the reasons of foreign workers'occupational stress, and the influence to migrant workers'psychological health and the quality of life, and adopt appropriate interventions. Further explore the intervention in accordance with China's national conditions, so as to provide relevant information and theoretical basis for drawing up rules to preserve and enhance the physical and mental health of migrant workers and the quality of life.The results showed that migrant workers are an occupational group which existents stress. The increase in occupational stress intensity will reduce migrant workers'mental health and quality of life. The factors that cause migrant workers'occupational stress are education, work environment, social support and recreation, rational way, age, individual emotional stability and spiritual level. Therefore, the government and the community should create a good social atmosphere which concerns and respect migrant workers; Relevant departments should strengthen the implementation of the regulations such as labor, health and safety laws and regulations to further improve migrant workers'working and living environment, and develop the social security system, defense the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers, and enhance their response capacity; we need to actively carry out vocational education and psychological counseling to help migrant workers identify occupational stress, control poor emotions, increase emotional stability, and enhance self-health awareness.
