Objectives: At present, occupational stress is a growing problem due to the numerous pressures, rapid changes, and higher demands of professional skill qualification of the new century. Along with the traditional physical, chemical and biological occupational hazards, occupational stress is a new occupational hazard that affects directly or indirectly personal health, personal work ability and professional life quality. Health is a complex and multi-dimension phenomenon of biology and sociology. And how to change this multi-dimension content into quantitative and operable contents and express it with a synthesis index which is becoming a international focus recently. With the improvement of these objective health indicates and the updating of subjective health concepts, quality of Life is just a kind of indexes system evaluating health status. But the information of occupational stress and its influential factors in factory workers and the relationships between occupational stress and quality of life have not been reported. This study is to realize the status of occupational stress and the influential factors of strain in factory workers and the relationships between occupational stress and quality of life.
