| Objective: To approach the pathogenesy of chronic uveitis induced by pathogenic damp and observe the effect of dispelling dampness on treatment of this disease, Which can provide another thinking for the clinical treatment of this kind of diseases and offer some help for the guidance of clinical medication. Methods: The method of own control was adopted. On the base of differentiation of symptoms and signs for classification of syndrome, different means of dispelling dampness and Chinese medicines combining with hormonal therapy were used according to different types of syndromes. The variations of visual acuity (VA) and the signs of ocular region between pre-therapy and post-treatment were compared. Results: 1.The clinical total effective rate is 90.70% in treatment group; 2.The VA after treatment is significantly increased (P<0.05); 3.The symptoms of KP, aqueous opacity, iris, vitreous, fundus are slighter than pretherapy (P<0.05). Conclusions: The good therapeutic effect of dispelling dampness on the treatment of chronic uveitis can be obtained. |
