Objective: To investigate the influences of abnormal savda munziq on animal model of abnormal savda syndrome, to verify the establishment of animal model of abnormal savda syndrome by drugs counterevidence. Methods: Male ICR rats were fed with cold-food diet under cool dry environment, stimulated with electric foot shocks to establish abnormal savda syndrome animal model in Uighur medicine. The other three drugs counterevidence groups were given the same stimulation elements such as animal model group, furthermore to be intervened with three different dosages (the extraction drugs 2.53g/kg, 5.06g/kg, 10.12g/kg) of abnormal savda munziq. The changes of animal models behavior, body weight, daily food intake, daily water intake, daily weight of urine and stool were observed and investigated during the whole procedure. To draw the animals brains, cardiac muscles and livers in order to observe histological changes of these dominating organs by optic microscope; to observe ultra-structural changes of these organs cells by using transmission electronic microscope, and compare the morphological changes and cells ultra-structural changes of dominating organs between animal model of abnormal savda syndrome and drugs intervene groups. Results: the model group has developed abnormal savda syndrome like dysphoria, ennui, somnolence, crabbed, furs chaos lackluster and easy to fall, purple tongue, cool-skin by touch, lose flesh, more diet, more drink, more urine and stool. Comparing to model group, the abnormal savda munziq intervene groups have significant differences, such as less water intake than model group(P<0.05); less food intake(P<0.01); less urine and stool(P<0.01); and significantly accrued body weight(P<0.05). Microscopic examination of, the model group showed swelling of hypothalamic cells, interstitial angiectasis in the hypothalamus; and there were adipose cells infiltration and interstitial angiectasis on cardiac muscles; liver cells was regeneration, point necrosis and liver tissue inflammatory infiltration. Cells ultra-structural examination of the model group showed that the elements of cell(like the core, membrane, mitochondrion, endoplasmic, ribosome and lysosome) were damaged severely. But the drugs intervene groups showed the morphological changes of dominating organs improved significantly, and the damages of cell ultra-structure were recovered according to the concentration of drugs. Conclusion: abnormal savda munziq can normalize the symptoms of abnormal savda syndrome animal model efficiently; abnormal savda munziq may affect by protecting and recovering the morphological changes of dominating organs and cell ultra-structure, especially the changes on mitochondrion, the degree of improvement has concentration dependant; the availability of abnormal savda munziq verified that the method of establishing abnormal savda syndrome animal model was feasible on theory and methodology.
