| Objective:To investigate the rules of the occurrence of post renal-transplantation diabetes mellitus(PTDM).Methods:Based on the clinical data of 113 patients from Apr.2002 to Dec.2006,the relationship between PTDM and age, body mass index(BMI), family history of diabetes mellitus, the bottom concentration of CsA and the incidence of acute rejection are analyzed,as well as the effect of PTDM on patients. Results:After renal transplantation,8 cases occurred PTDM in the 113 patients;the incidence of PTDM was 7.08%in this group. There was statistical significance in age and patient's BMI.But, family diabetic history and CsA bottom concentration show no obvious effects on its occurrence in this study. In this group,3 cases occurred various infections,2 of pulmonary infection, and the other is urinary tract infection, the infection rate was 37.5%.1 cases were complicated by hyperosmolar nonketotic diabetic coma,1 cases concurrenced CHD.Conclusions:PTDM as a secondary diabetes related to the results of different factors which effected on glycometabolism, can be early diagnosed by regularly blood glucose monitoring, and treated by dietotherapy, regulation of immune depressant and proper medicine. There may cause serious consequences if it is treated improperly. |
