Clinical Study Of Traditional Chinese Medicine On Elderly Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective: According to the theory of Chinese medicine and Chinese-western combined medicine, the study Probes into the Pathogenesis, mechanism and theraPy of Elderly Rheumatoid arthritis(ERA) disease from thetwo asPects of theory and clinic. Methods: we collected 50 Patients of ERA form2005to2006. we Prescribed Qingretongbitang andPafulinTablets for 30 cases as the treating grouP. The control grouP contains 20cases, Prescribed with Pafulin Tablets. Treat for 2 months and observe the security of the medicine and the reverse reaction. Results: Through the clinical study, we can see that the theraPy of Qingretongbietang and Pafulin Tablets could imProve the clinical symPtoms, signs, and laboratory examinations, extend the reverse reaction. The effective rate of the treating grouP is 93.33%, which is significantly suPerior to that of the control grouP (55.00%, P<0.05).Conclusion: The basic Pathogenesis of ERA is kidney and liver weakness,wetness-heatand blood-stasis round uP together. It is Proved that reinforcing kidney and liver,clearing heat and relieving toxin and removing damPness, and activating blood is an effective main theraPeutic method in treating Elderly Rheumatoidarthritis...
