Clinical And Experiment Studies On Runfei Mixture In Treating Pulmonary-Fibrosis

Objective:To investigate the clinical effects and mechanism of Runfei Mixture in treating Pulmonary -fibrosis(PF) Methods:40 cases of Pulmonary -fibrosis with TCM syndrome of Deficiency of Both Qi and Yin with Stasis of Blood were randomly divided into tow groups.Among them 20 cases treated had been treated with Runfei Mixture for 30 days.The other 20 cases treated with Prednisone Acetate (0.5mg/kg) served as a control group. The clinical study of both groups before and after treatment was observed. The changes of the main symptoms,lung-CT, the function of the lung, the expression of TGF-βin blood were tested before and after treatment. In experiment research,60 male Wistar rats were divided into four groups :the normal control group(Group N),the bleomycin group(Group B),dense RunfeiMixture trested group(Group F1),washy Runfei Mixture treated group(Group F2).These rats were primed Runfei Mixture.We have observed the therapeutic effect of Runfei Mixture on reducing the degree of the lung inflammation and fibrosis of laboratorial rats. Results: the therapeutic effect of Runfei Mixture is as similar as Prednisone Acetate's in treating PF. The experiment shows that the prescription of Runfei Mixture can obviously reduce the degree of the lung inflammation and fibrosis of rats,ligten the expression of Collagen I and CollagenIIIand play down the expression of TGF-βin the lung tissue of rats.Conclusions:Runfei Mixture is obviously effective on the treatmentof PFwith TCM syndrome of Deficiency of Both Qi and Yin with Stasis of Blood. Therapy of enriching fei-shen with adjusting blood is important in treating PF.
