Research Objective:To find out is there any connection between diabetic Plasma Glucose undulation and diabetic types in Traditional Chinese Medicine Diabetes; To discover the characteristics of diabetic different types in Traditional Chinese Medicine Diabetes. It would be an evidence for type dividing of diabetic TCM basing on above discovery, furthermore, It would provide clinic direction for diabetes.Research Method:Using the new technology of Continuous Glucose Monitoring System to record 3 days' Plasma Glucose data of 113 diabetic cases. There are different types of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diabetes including among these 113 cases. According to "the year 2002 Traditional Chinese Medicine(new medicine) clinic research guidance principal of National Leechdom Supervision Bureau of P.R.China" which divides 5 types TCM Diabetes as 5 observation group.Standardize using the 2th days' Plasma Glucose data in this research. And also it supposed all cases have same infliction factors in this research.Using repeating measure data variance analysis methods (by SPSS13 software) to compare differences in both inter-groups and inner-groups. Observation factors in the analysis was chosen in 3 point of view. Firstly, to find out the whole day plasma glucose undulation, it mainly using for reference of the Mean Amplitude of Plasma Glucose Excursions (MAGE) which were innovated by Service FJ, Molnar GD, Rosevear JW, Ackerman E, Gatewood LC, Taylor WF in plasma glucose curve researching. It would provide more details and panorama to better understanding and more discoverys for whole day plasma glucose excursion. In the Second, to observe the postprandial plasma glucose excursions, Observation Factors are Mean Plasma Glucose before Breakfast(1hour), Mean Plasma Glucose after Breakfast(3hour), Mean Plasma Glucose before Lunch(1hour), Mean Plasma Glucose after Lunch(3hour), Mean Plasma Glucose before Supper(1hour), Mean Plasma Glucose after Supper(3hour). The last, to observe the hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia by following factors: Mean Plasma Glucose, Plasma Glucose Peak Value, Plasma Glucose Vale Value, Hyperglycemia Rate and Hypoglycemia Rate.Research Result:Mean Plasma Glucose after Breakfast(3hour) in Type "Yin Yang Liang Xu" is 13.52±2.39 mmol/L, obviously higher than others (Type "Yin Xu Re Sheng", Type "Shi Re Kun Pi", Type "Qi Yin Liang Xu", Type "Xue Yu Mai Luo") as 9.13±2.28, 9.40±2.31, 10.52±2.94, 8.98±2.16 (retool/L), compare to each other, P is: 0.000,0.000,0.000,0.006. The others intercomparsion P>0.05;Mean Plasma Glucose after Lunch(3hour) in Type "Yin Yang Liang Xu" is 14.36±3.68 mmol/L, obviously higher than others (Type "Yin Xu Re Sheng", Type "Shi Re Kun Pi", Type "Qi Yin Liang Xu", Type "Xue Yu Mai Luo") as 8.21±3.80, 10.47±3.72, 10.8±3.9, 9.12±2.40 (mmol/L), compare to each other, P is: 0.000,0.000,0.000,0.000. The others intercomparsion P>0.05;Mean Plasma Glucose after Supper(3hour) in Type "Yin Yang Liang Xu" is 13.74±3.08 mmol/L, obviously higher than others (Type "Yin Xu Re Sheng", Type "Shi Re Kun Pi", Type "Qi Yin Liang Xu", Type "Xue Yu Mai Luo") as 8.78±2.04, 10.26±3.46, 10.69±3.12, 8.73±1.92 (retool/L), compare to each other, P is: 0.000,0.000,0.000,0.000. The others intercomparsion P>0.05;Mean Amplitude of Plasma Glucose Excursions (MAGE) in Type "Yin Yang Liang Xu" is 1.76±2.30, obviously higher than others (Type "Yin Xu Re Sheng", Type "Shi Re Kun Pi", Type "Qi Yin Liang Xu", Type "Xue Yu Mai Luo") as 0.88±1.45, 0.99±1.59, 1.24±1.76, 0.96±1.56, compare to each other, P is: 0.000,0.000,0.001,0.001. The others intercomparsion P>0.05;Mean Plasma Glucose in Type "Yin Yang Liang Xu" is 11.47±2.49 mmol/L, obviously higher than others (Type "Yin Xu Re Sheng", Type "Shi Re Kun Pi", Type "Qi Yin Liang Xu", Type "Xue Yu Mai Luo") as 9.76±2.51, 9.59±3.15, 9.77±2.06, 8.09±3.30 (mmol/L), compare to each other, P is: 0.000,0.000,0.000,0.000. The others intercomparsion P>0.05;Plasma Glucose Peak Value in Type "Yin Yang Liang Xu" is 20.37±2.56 mmol/L, obviously higher than others (Type "Yin Xu Re Sheng", Type "Shi Re Kun Pi", Type "Qi Yin Liang Xu", Type "Xue Yu Mai Luo") as 15.47±4.38, 15.58±4.85, 17.88±3.32, 14.27±5.31 (mmol/L), compare to each other, P is: 0.000,0.000,0.000,0.000. The others intercomparsion P>0.05;Hyperglycemia Rate in Type "Yin Yang Liang Xu" is 72.39±21.54 (%), obviously higher than others (Type "Yin Xu Re Sheng", Type "Shi Re Kun Pi", Type "Qi Yin Liang Xu", Type "Xue Yu Mai Luo") as 50.58±37.10; 47.53±34.08; 58.84±28.82; 52.50±36.78(%) compare to each other, P is: 0.000,0.000,0.001,0.001. The others intercomparsion P>0.05;Conclusions of this Research:1. There is remarkable connection between diabetic Plasma Glucose undulation and diabetic types in Traditional Chinese Medicine Diabetes.2. In all TCM Diabetes, Type "Yin Yang liang xu" has the most remarkable undulation of Plasma Glucose in 24h.
