The Experimental Study On Bupiyichang Decoction In Affecting The Interleukin-6 Level Of Mice Model With Chronic Ulcerative Colitis

Aim: In order to explain the effect of BPYCT, weinvestigated the effect of it on treating experimental U. C inmice.We also study the connection between IL-6 and U.C toexplain the effect of the recipe.Methods:We devide 100 mice into 5teams,includingnormal,model,high Chinese herb,low Chinese herb and SASP.Givemice DSS to make U.C models and observe the weight,stool andhiden blood of mice.Choose the colon-tissue of mice to evaluatethe damage-level.At last,measure the IL-6 amount of blood andanalyse what can the recipe do to IL-6.Results:After therapy,IL-6 level decreases.The pathologicchanges of colon mucosa and symptoms are both improved.Thisexperiment shows that BPYCT is effective to DSS models.Thisrecipy can improve the symptoms,reduce the ulcerative andinflammatory degree and can decrease the amount of IL-6.Conclusion: The total treatment effect of the high-doseBypiyichang decoction group is similar to that of the SASP group.The recipe can improve the symptoms, and reduce the ulcerativeand inflammatory degree and decrease the amount of IL-6. Themechanism may be related to inhibiting inflammatoryfactors(IL-6).
