The Association Between Polymorphism Of HLA-B Allele And Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy In Southern Chinese Han Population

Obsjective:In order to find out the association between IgA nephropathy and polymorphism of HLA-B allele in pathogenesis,clinical features and pathology.Method:The high resolution gene typing method—PCR-SBT(sequence based typing)and gene colone method were used to investigate 145 IgA nephropathy patients and 137 healthy controls in Southern Chinese Han population.From pathogenesis,clinical features and pathology, we study the association between IgA nephropathy and the polymorphism of HLA-B alleles.Result:(1)In 145 IgAN and 137 healthy controls,we found 103 HLA-B alleles.Among the alleles,the genetic frequencies ofHLA-B*400101,HLA-B*4601,HLA-B*1502,HLA-B*1301, HLA-B*5801 is predominant.The phenomenon was the same with the regular pattern of HLA-B in Southern Chinese Han population.(2)In IgAN group,we found that the frequency of HLA-B*5601 allele was higher(P＜0.042),and we considered that HLA-B*5601 allele may be associated with IgAN.(3)With regard to HLA-B allele polymorphism and clinical feature,pathology in IgAN,we concluded that HLA-B*40 was higher in hypertriglyceridemia groups than no hypertriglyceridemia groups,So HLA-B*40 allele may be protective alleles for hypertriglyceridemia in IgAN.Conclusion:It was concluded that HLA-B*5601 allele was associated with IgAN.But there was no association between HLA-B allele and clinical features and pathology of IgAN.
