Objectives: This study investigated the health condition, health relatedbehaviors and theirs' related factors of nurses in a gradeâ…¢level hospital A inChangsha, and documented prevention intervention survey.Methods: Through cluster sampling, 548 nurses were interviewed with thequestionnaire about the basic information, health condition, health related behaviorsof the nurses, the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and the Self-Rating DepressionScale(SDS). Data were analyzed by statistic description and statistic inference,including descriptive statistics, chi-square test, ANOVA, correlation analysis andmultiple logistic regression, etc.Results: The nurses that have chronic disease is 28.4 percent. Most of nurseskeep sink, and rate is 73.9ï¼…. 25.3 percent of nurses have Anxiety, and 44.0 percenthave depressive mood. 96.9 percent of the nurses are no-smoking, 95.5 percent areno-drinking, and 10.8 percent often do some exercises. 53.1 percent of the nurseshave a reasonable diet, and 74.9 percent have big work pressure, and 62.7 percent arewilling to change the job, and 25.6 percent have good sleeping condition, and 68.3percent have done health examination in 2 years. There are relation between healthrelated behaviors and the age, the career duration, the title, the cultural level, theestablishment, the office, the anxieties, the depression status. There are interrelationsin many health related behaviors. No-smoking is related with no-drinking, andno-drinking is related with dietary status and good sleeping condition. No-drinkingrelated with big job depression, and the big job depression is positive related with thewilling to change the job. Health status was closely related with health relatedbehavior, smoking and sleep are concerned with chronic disease. Different division,education level and night shift are concerned with nurse's anxiety condition..Depressive state is related with age, while willing to change their profession is related with anxiety condition and depressive state.Conclusions: The health status of nurses, especially the mental health status ofthem is not optimistic, Behaviors relevant with health such as no smoking, nodrinking, sleeping and physical examinations, are somewhat fine, but they still needfurther improving. About ninety percent of people don't do sports frequently, threequarters of people feel the pressure of their work, and sixty percent of people wish tochange their jobs. Although more than a half of people's meals are reasonable, only4.5 percent of that is excellent. The health status of nurses and behaviors relevant withhealth are influenced by the social and demographic factors, such as age, years ofnursing, title, post and educational level, they are closely associated. Meanwhile, thebehaviors relevant with health also are associated with each otherHealth status andrelated behavior of nurses need to be improved, health education needs to beenhanced, medical management needs to be consummated, work stress needs to bealleviated, and their mental health level should be elevated; Occupational attractionshould be strengthened, A three-dimension training mode of nurse should be built up.
