| Hemorrhagic Fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) is a kind of zoogenous infectious disease and murine is the host animal and the infectant. Its pathogeny is the Hantaan virus (HV). China is the most seriously affected country by HFRS virus in the world. Studies showed that many kinds of animals could be naturally infected with Hantavirus in China. There are different viruses among the different host animals. Changchun Longjia international airport is a new port. It is not clear about the background of the vector and the etiological agent. In order to prevent the HFRS spreading by mouse at the airport and transmitting by vehicle between the different countries, we must know the background of the mouse clearly, and genotype the virus gene. Thus, we can prevent and control effectively HFRS.Based on knowing the background of the mouse, we should enhance to analyze the virus taked by vector. Now, Hantaan viruses are found in many rodents in the world and there are 30 recognised sero/genotypes. Methods can be used to type the Hataan virus. Monoclonal antibody immunofluorescence technique, RT-nestPCR and sequencing of nucleotide are commonly used.This study includes three parts. First, in order to investigate the kind, composition, density and the regulation of the rise and fall of mouse, a baseline survey, from April. 2006 to Mar. 2007, was carried out at Changchun airport. Mouse was captured by mousetrap (mouse clamp). 195 mice were captured including 6 rodent species, 5 genera, 3 families, 1 orders. They are respectively R. norvegicus Berkenhourt, A. agrarius Pallas, Musculus Linnaeus, C. triton De Wonton, M. maximowiczii Schrenk, M. arvalis Pallas. We know the general background through this monitoring. The dominant species were R. norvegicus Berkenhourt in room and Musculus Linnaeus in wild. The annual average density of mouse was 1.81%, lower than average density in Jilin province, 8.62%. In August, the density of rat was higher than other month, so we should control the vector promptly during this period.Second, direct immunofluorescence technique was used to test the antigen of HFRS in rodents'lungs. Finally, we got 10 samples which took the Hataan virus. The average infectious rate was 5.13%. the highest infectious rate was 6.33%.Third, RT-nestPCR was used to identify the genotype of each sample which is positive. There are 4 Hataan viruses and 6 Seoul viruses. Nucleotide sequence homology analysis showed that there were some mutation in the Hantaan virus in this study. But we did not found the new subgenotype.According this study, we can draw some conclusion that in order to prevent disease spreading at the port and protect the people's health, the entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureau should strengthen the control of the vector. |
