Objectives: Xinjiang Shihezi people's hospital was studied in our research. We collected 2002-2004 years performances of the inpatient department to analyze its change trend and conclude the hospital's successful management and approach its further development. Methods: The technique of literature consultjing, the investigation methods, the technique of crosswise and longitudinal contrast were used in this research. Adopt the description analysis and the dynamic analysis. The concrete achievements target refers to "Hospital Appraisal Guide" in 2005. Results: The inpatient department performance of nearly three years achieved good. The inpatient number and ht hospital's economic benefits are both increasing in recent years. The work efficiency is elevated prominently; meanwhile, the patients' diseases burdens are controlled at low levels. Conclusions: The hospital aimes its own development, while takes into consideration for the common people benefit, which enhances the medical service to be possible and reduces the patient's disease burden. It is the idea to be kind to both the patient and the medical staff that caused the hospital promoting its competitive ability while avoiding to increase the patient's disease burden, which finally made the hospital obtained the social efficiency and the economic efficiency synchronized promotion and stepped onto the good operation path.
