Methods: Structured questionnaires EORTC QLQ C30 (QLQ C30)were used in 52 cases of gastric cancer patient and 50 cases of colorectal cancer patient for date collection during February 1, 2005 to August 31, 2005. This 50 cases of colorectal cancer patients were also compare with reference value. The T-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to compare the differences in QoL at a 5% level of significance. Optimal scaling regression and Discriminant analysis were used to find the relationship of the stages among the items, facets and domains of EORTC QLQ C30. Multiple linear regression was analysis used to find the relationship of years of age and Global Health among the other items, facets and domains of EORTC QLQ C30. Results: The QoL of colorectal cancer patients were worse than reference value. The patients with higher education, or at the early stages, or having experienced the combined therapy, have better QoL. Years of age and sexuality can not make influence in QoL. The QoL of Gastric cancer patients were poorer than the QoL of colorectal cancer patients.
