Evidence-based Medicine (EBM) is defined as conception or thinking mode that medical decision should be made on basis of present best research evidence. In the view of literature information retrieval, by analyzing the applying evidences case, this paper attached importance to discussing the literature ensuring mechanism and preferred several advices at the point of this mechanism.The aim of EBM practices is to solve the clinical problems higher effectively, efficiently and scientifically. It unifies creating evidences and applying evidences, information resources and S & T resources, finding problems and solving problems, research methods and diagnosis and treating methods, diagnosis and treating application and following assessment. In view of this point, there are doctors, clinical librarians, epidemiologists and patients in the EMB practices system. In this system, clinical librarians and information resources provide ensuring effects. That is mechanism that librarians make advantages of retrieval skills to provide literature information services to ensure clients'working system finish their work completely by searching all kinds of literature information resources, namely literature ensuring mechanism. As a clinical librarian, one should assist, join in and disseminate EBM mode to propel the development of EBM practices.
