In hospitals, patient records are important catalogues of medical treatments of patients, on which doctors depend to diagnose and treat illness quickly and accurately. Patient records can also be used in research and investigation by some departments. Along with the wave of hospital information in the world, computer-based patient record(CPR) becomes a popular topic of hospital information, and it is the irreversible trend during hospital information process.Our research is emphasized on how to design CPR's functions by XML which is an open, standard and extensible markup language, and how to describe information form and data structure. In our research, how can we express and memorize those structured data and semi structured data well will be discussed. XML hangs together with JavaScript and Database language to exchange data between CPR and relational Database. An exchange-format standard for health information is set up in order to transform and transfer CPR among different hospitals. In this way, medical departments can share CPR in open environment.This paper consists of 6 parts, the 1st part, the status of CPR in international medical environment is analyzed, and technology phylogeny is studied. The 2nd part, the conception of CPR and HL7 are introduced. The 3rd part, what is XML? What is CPR based-on XML? It indicates a method we adopt XML to access, express, memorize clinical data. The 4th part, on the base of studies above, practical research is conducted and a CPRs based on web service framework is developed. The CPRs is based on XML technology. System model, data model and information exchange model are made up for next research. The 5th part, RPC(remote procedure call) of CPRs through network is achieved. The last part, studies expatiated above are summarized, applied value of our research is discussed. And the future view of health information system is prospected. |
