Objective The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between dynamic enhanced CT and MVD(micro vascular density) of lung carcinoma . Methods 31 peripheral lung carcinoma patients (23 men, 7 women; age range: 33~83, mean age: 64 years)during 2000 to 2005 got diagnosed by means of surgery after the dynamic enhanced CT were included in this research, with their pathological reports and specimen provided, and immunohistochemiacal stain of anti-CD34 antibody was performed. 31 cases included lung adenocarcinoma 24 cases and lung squamous carcinoma 7 cases, with the diameter during1.0~6.5cm, mean 2.57cm, with lymph node involvement 9 cases and 22 cases without.Results1. All lung cancer showed a great enhancement during the dynamic enhanced CT, the max increased CT value was 40.63±13.73Hu, while MVD was 34.58±9.69. There was a linear positive correlation between max increased CT value and the MVD. (r=0.753, P<0.05)2. Both of the max increased CT value and MVD of lung adenocarcinoma were higher than that of squamous carcinoma, (P<0.05): 43.93±12.98Hu vs. 29.33±10.22 Hu with CT value, and 36.58±9.03 vs. 27.71±9.26 with MVD. There is a linear positive correlation between lung adenocarcinoma's max increased CT value and the MVD.(r=0.711, P<0.05)3. Both of the max of CT value and MVD of lung cancer with the diameter≤3cm...
