Burned and scalded injury is the main cause of wound. Tissue is damaged after body injury, resulting in the formation of acute injury. The method used to treat the wound includes drug therapy, surgical therapy and others. Chinese medicine therapy which is simple, remarkable, stable effect has been a high priority. So research and development as a new treatment for burns and wound healing of the drug become yet to resolve the issue.Shu Xiao Danxiong Dieda Paste (SXDDP) is compound synthesis of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) preparations. To carry on pharmacological research systematically and comprehensively for the effect of SXDDP, we selected experimental rat model burn and deep second-degree scald to observe SXDDP significant effect, designing anti-inflammatory and analgesic experiment. We conducted a preliminary study on the mechanism and supplied the laboratory and theoretical basis of clinical application. The experimental results show SXDDP can inhibit inflammatory mediators IL-1, IL-6 and TNF-αrelease and has better action to severe burns. SXDDP will quickly alleviate the symptoms of deep second-degree scald and apparently promote wound healing. Every dose of SXDDP has obvious anti-inflammatory effect on the experiment of mice ears swelling and rat paws swelling. There is anti-inflammatory effect in swelled paws experiment after 5min for administration. The effect can maintain over 6h on medium and high dose. In mice hot plate and writhing test with significant analgesic...
