The Investigation Of MMP3 And The Hernia Size In The Herniated Lumbar Disc Tissue

ObjectivesTo investigate the pathogenesis of the lumbar disc herniation, and the content of the MMP3 in the degenerative lumbar disc. To analysis correlations of ratios of the maximal sagittal diameters of hernias to spinal canals at the samelevel on CT scans, to provide scans. To prove the relation of the MMP3 and the hernia size.SubjectiveThere are 32 patients suffering from the lunbar disc herniation, 22men and 10women; and there 10 patients in the control group, suffering from the acute spine fracture.MethodsTo investigate content of the MMP3 by the immunohistochemical methods, and analysis the correlations of ratios of the maximal sagittal diameters of hernias to spinal canals at the same level on CT scans.ResultsThere are 2 5 cases positively expressing in the experiment group , none posit -ively expressing in the control group, so there is significant difference(P < 0. 01) . There is correlation between the content of MMP3 and the hernia size (P > 0. 05 ) .
