Research Relative Risk Factors, Species Candida And Its Drug Susceptibility Test In Recurrent Vulvavaginal Candidiasis

Part 1: Abstract of researching relative risk factors in recurrent vulvavaginal candidiasisObjective: We investigated whether or not factors, such as age, education background, history of BV, vaginal douching, were relatived with RVVC by questionnaire , furthermore we analyse which one is its independent factor.Methods: Total of 200 women were enrolled in the research who attended gynecology division of outpatient of the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical College from September 2004 to October 2005. Total of them, 67 person were RWC cases, 68 person were VCC cases, 65 person were normal cases.The questionnaire was conducted by exclusive people and data were analyzed by logistic statistics.Results: Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that age (OR=0.838) had a certain statistical relationship with the occurence of VCC. BV history (OR=4.750) had remarkable statistical relationship with the occurence of RVCC. vaginal douching (OR= 2.783; OR=6.637)had statistical relationship with both occurence of RVCC and WC. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that BV history (OR=8.074), vaginal douching (OR=4.548) were the independent risk factors of RVCC.The young (OR=0.905) were independent risk factors of VCC.Conclusion: Women who suffer with VVC first time mostly are Young women having normal sexual activities, women who have history of BV, vaginal douching are liable to RWC.Part 2: Abstract of researching species of Candida and its drug susceptibility test in recurrent vulvavaginal candidiasisObjective: We collected and cultured leucorrhea of RWC patients, VVC patients and normal women,and identified which species of Candida of the culture colony,at the same,we administrated drug susceptibility test,so that we would know pathogenic mechanisms of RWC from its aetiology and get valuable information for clinical...
