| Objective To observe the influence of breviscapine on expression of thrombinreceptor of rat vascular smooth muscle cellsMethods The fourth-sixth generation of arterial vascular smooth muscle cells ofSprague-Dawley rat are cultivated by adhensive cultivation.Cell transfection, Western-Blot, ELISA, ~3H-inositol incorporated experiments evaluate expression of thrombin receptor of vascular smooth muscle cellsResults Compared with control-group, breviscapine and antisense sequences of thrombin receptor inhibited clearly expression of thrombin receptor of vascular smooth muscle cells and metabolism of ~3H-inositol. There were statistic difference among them (P <0.05), but breviscapine and antisense sequences of thrombin receptor inhibited expression of thrombin receptor of vascular smooth muscle cells, which were not different in our experiment (P>0.05); Different concentration of breviscapine inhibited expression of thrombin receptor of vascular smooth muscle cells, which were not different.Conclusions Breviscapine and antisense oligo-deoxy-nucleotide can decrease expression of thrombin receptor and signal delivery. So, breviscapine can inhibit the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells by restraining thrombin and expression of thrombin receptor. |
