| Section oneClinical study of factors for formation of cerebral aneurysmsObjection The purpose of this part was to assess the demographic distribution and clinical and morphological characteristics of this group of patients with cerebral ANs and matched control, to define factors for formation of cerebral aneurysms.Methods We reviewed and collected the data of 40 Pco-ANs patients,57 Aco-ANs patients , one patient of both Pco-AN and Aco-AN and 30 no-AN patients treated in our hospital from January 2000 to May 2005. We analyzed and recorded the basic clinical elements of each patient such as gender and age, past history, carefully read each patient's angioarchitectural features, and marked each angioarchitectural feature following a certain standard. The data were synthesized and processed by paired samples test, independent samples test or chi-square test of SPSS10.0 statistical software package.Results (1) This group includes 98 cerebral ANs patients aging from 19 to 73, with an average age at diagnosis of 48.64±12.50, most patients among 40-50, 46(46.94%) were male and 52 (53.06%) were female.
