The Effect Of Sequential Application Of Estrogen And Simvastatin Therapy On Osteoporosis In Ovariectomized Rats

Osteoporosis is a skeletal disorder"characterized by low bone mass and microarchitectural deterioration of the bone tissue, leading to the increased bone fragility and the resultant increase in fracture risk". With the increasing risk of the elderly fracture ,osteoporosis causes severe problem to the victims and the society.Objective:1.To investigate the effects of sequential application of estrogen and simvastatin theraphy on osteoporosis in ovariectomized rats on uterus weighth,BMD and bone histopathology.2.To investigate the effects of coherent theraphy on osteoporosis in ovariectomized rats on the expression of IL-6 and BGP,to explore the underlying mechanisms and offer a new methods of treating osteoporosis.Methods:50 SD female rats were randomly divided into two groups:shamp operation(S,n=10)and OVX(n=40)group.OVX were randomly allocated into 4 groups(each n=10):coherent estradiol benzoate and simvastatin(coherent group),estradiol benzoate ,simvastatin and OVX. After operation for one month,we began to run medicine intervention.
