Synthetical Evaluation Of National Health Services In Different Times

There were three times of National Health Services Surveys which were in 1993, 1998, and 2003 until now. Three analysis reports of Health Services Surveys have been finished orderly, but didn't include synthetical evaluation of national health services. The effect and affect of health services can be reflected fully by synthetical evaluation of health services need, resources input, quantity and efficiency of services, social benefit and economic benefit.There is not a common understanding about range, content and indicators of synthetical evaluation at home and abroad until now. WHO's synthetical evaluation model selects actual measures as indicators. Geographically defined areas can be divided in relation to whether they are above or below the mean for appropriate measures of need, use, and resources. Health services status of all areas can be compared with each other. It can provide evidences to find gaps of health services among areas, evaluate health work, plan for and administer health services scientifically.The objective of this study is to analyze health services status and the winds of change with time length-ways of 86 areas which were all sampled by three times of National Health Services Surveys by WHO's synthetical evaluation model. Health services need, use, and resources are combined so as to advance our understanding of their relationships. It can provide references to make development program and allocate health resources reasonably.Objective in detail as follows:1. To evaluate health services status within and among the study areas of our country in different periods synthetically.
