The Wavefront Aberrations Of Human Eyes And The Change With Accommodation

Objective : The wavefront aberration guided-customized ablation is an important part of the corneal refractory surgery . And the wavefront aberration(WA) can be affected by many factors, especially the accommodation. This study is to investigate the WA in emmetropia, myopia, patience with IOL, and the changes with accommodation. And to determine the characters of WA of human eyes and the influence of the accommodation to the WA.Methods : The WA of the 64 emmetropia and myopia(including 9 emmetropia, 21 mild myopia and 34 moderate myopia) and 5 eyes with IOL were measured with a Hartmann-Shack wavefront aberrometer(carl zeiss) in the state of unaccommodation and accommodation with the 6mm pupil diameter. The whole high order aberration (HOA),spherical aberration(SA),horizental coma and vertical coma were collected. Then analyzed the results with the software of SAS9.0. Results :1, Classified the eyes by the degree of ametropia in the state of unaccommodation. There are no significant difference in the whole HOA, SA and coma in the state of unaccommodation. And the horizontal coma and the SA are correlated with the HOA(r=0.3813,r=0.4090).
