A Primary Study On Correlations Between COX-2 And The Occurrence And Growth Of Endometrial Adenocarcinoma

Objective Investigate the expression features of COX-2 and VEGF in endometrial adenocarcinoma and infiltrated myometrium, uninfiltrated tissue beside uterus, in an attempt to identify the correlations between the former and the latter.Methods The researcher has collected 37 cases of curettage or operation fresh specimens.Among the 37 cases, 10 cases are related to atrophic endometrium; another ten are related to complex hyperplasia endometrium; and 17 cases are related to endometrial adenocarcinoma. Using RT-PCR, the researcher has explored the expression features of COX-2 and VEGF in atrophic endometrium, complex hyperplasia endometrium, endometrial adenocarcinoma and infiltrated myometrium, uninfiltrated tissue beside uterus.
