Objective Investigate the expression features of COX-2 and VEGF in endometrial adenocarcinoma and infiltrated myometrium, uninfiltrated tissue beside uterus, in an attempt to identify the correlations between the former and the latter. Methods The researcher has collected 37 cases of curettage or operation fresh specimens.Among the 37 cases, 10 cases are related to atrophic endometrium; another ten are related to complex hyperplasia endometrium; and 17 cases are related to endometrial adenocarcinoma. Using RT-PCR, the researcher has explored the expression features of COX-2 and VEGF in atrophic endometrium, complex hyperplasia endometrium, endometrial adenocarcinoma and infiltrated myometrium, uninfiltrated tissue beside uterus. The researcher has also made an investigation of the differences and relevance of their expression features under different circumstances. Results The study finds: 1.COX-2 mRNAå’ŒVEGF mRNA displays more prominent expressions in endometrial adenocarcinoma tissue than complex hyperplasia endometrium and atrophic endometrium(P<0.01). 2.COX-2 mRNAå’ŒVEGF mRNA displays more prominent expressions in...
