Objective: To analyze the clinical feature of paraneoplastic syndrome of primary hepatic carcinoma and approach the alter rule in biochemistry and pathology parameter of paraneoplastic syndromes. Methods: To review the clinical data of 635 primary hepatic carcinoma patients identified by pathology or image analysis retrospectively, summarize the PNS cases and compare the difference in general state of health, clinical feature, biochemistry and pathology parameter of PNS group and control group. Results: Among the patients with primary hepatic carcinoma, 20.00% (127/635) had paraneoplastic syndrome, the ratio of male to female was 8.77 : 1. paraneoplastic syndrome mainly manifested as six clinicai abnormalities: thrombocytosis(6.14%), hypercholesterolemia (5.83%), leucocytosis (5.20%), erythrocytosis (1.10%), hypercalcemia (0.94%), hypoglycemia (0.79%). The differences of the years of age, sexuality, level of AFP, tumor load, incidence rate of arterial veins of Soemmering carcinoma epistomium, metabasis rate, hepatitis virus infection rate, level of GGT and complicating liver cirrhosis rate in two groups were significant (P<0.05). Conclusions: The patients of PNS group with primary hepatic carcinoma were younger and had higher level of AFP, tumor load, incidence rate of arterial veins of Soemmering carcinoma epistomium, metabasis rate, hepatitis virus infection rate, level of GGT and complicating liver cirrhosis rate than control group. Patients with primary liver carcinoma may appear one or two kinds of paraneoplastic syndromes. The Clinical manifestations of paraneoplastic...
