Objective Disjunct denture is a kind of special design which is composed of two layers of the bases, and undertakes the retention and maintains the stability of denture, respectively. These two bases are nested with groove. This treatment can prolong the life of abutment, and can be applicable for the restoration of Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ class ridge deformities and the patience with poor periodontal tissue around abutment. The object of the present study was to make a model constructed in computer; To subject the denture to known loads and to evaluate the stress by means of three-dimensional element analysis in order for providing evidence in clinic use.Method The study utilized CT to scan the maxilla of a healthy man in order to receive the primal data, and then used specified software to setup a series of two-definite images by doing both artificially and automatically. The three-definite model of partial maxilla, including teeth, bone tissue and softy tissue can be obtained in Pro-E software by using related commands. The disjunct denture was finally set up according to the denture design in Pro-E. After making data convert into to Workbench software, we could fulfill the command of meshing. Applying different loads on artificial teeth, we can analyze the stress of abutment and...
