Background: Surgery is a utilization treatment for localized refractory epilepsy. With the development of the technique to localize epileptogenic zone in recent years, the remission rate of epilepsy seemed gradually rising up. So, pre-surgical evaluation is important in clinical work. The use of kinds of electrophysiological and morphology technique in pre-surgical evaluation is hot spot. As a new technique, fMRI is the most sensitive technique. This paper is to evaluate deeply the localizing value of fMRI in pre-surgical patients。Objective: The objective of this review was to assess the effects of fMRI for pre-surgical evaluation of patients with epilepsy.Materials and Methods: Two reviewers will independently apply the inclusion criteria to all identified trial reports. From the trials that are eligible for inclusion, two reviewers will independently extract data on the methods, types of participants, interventions and outcomes.
