Objective:To investigate the Insulin-like factor system changes of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome patients and the effect of little-follicle puncture and pump therapy on PCOS patients'IGFs.Methods: 28 patients with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and 20 nomal menstrual women were taken as control.28patients with PCOS were treated by little-follicle puncture and pump therapy before IVF-ET. We measured these patients'insulin-like factor system concentrations in serum and follicular fluid. Results:the levels of IGF-I,IGF-II in serum and follicular fluid of all patients were no significant difference;the levels of IGFBP-1 in serum with PCOS were significantly lower but they got enhancement after little-follicle puncture and pump therapy ,P<0.05.The IGF-II levels in serum with PCOS were not correlated with LH and FSH,but inversely correlated with LH/FSH;BMI of PCOS patients were inversely correlated with IGFBP-1 concentrations, and the same result we can obtain about the relationship between ampoules of FSH and IGFBP-1 levels. Conclusions:There are some difference in IGF system between PCOS patients and the control, and the little-follicle puncture and pump though transvaginal ultrasound is effective in changing IGFBP-1 concentrations of PCOS patients.
