The State Of Public Health Emergency And First-aid System In Suzhou

Objective To perfect the medical system of first-aid further in Suzhou,and make it in conformity with social economic development, the people'sfirst-aid demand and security system in the city.Methods Under the foundation of investigating by traffic accidents,infectious diseases, poisoning etc, on the 2000-2004 in Suzhou and othercities in the near, we have investigated the accidents and the operationconditions of the first-aid system in Suzhou.Results The investigation result shows: the overall arrangement offirst-aid station before being hospitalized is unreasonable in Suzhou, thecoverage rate of the network is limited; it is better in the urban area andweak in the fringe and rural area generally. Emergency personnel areunderstaffed. The first-aid ability towards some rare and unidentifiedreasons' accidents is more relatively weak.Conclusions The first-aid system is much sounder in Suzhou, but thereare some problems needing to solve in immediate need.Propositions To change the simple first-aid mode before beinghospitalized; to set up the perfect first-aid network; to improve commandand dispatch method of first-aid;to implement control and management...
