The Research And Analyses On Antibiotic Applying To Upper Respiratory Tract Infection Inpatient In Pediatrics

Objective: To investigate and analyze the status of the antibiotics usage in the hospital and provide the reference for clinical.Methods: Applying the retrospective study method , the case of 278 infectious children in a hospital during the year 2004 are selected to stat and analyze the usage of antibiotics. The case and related datas are taken from the computer database , the kinds of drugs and the using ratio are investigated. The patients are divided to different group as the different severity of the disease (WBC level, body temperature and so on) and the antibiotics usage in each group are surveyed. Data of pathogeny checking ratio are combined with the drug usage and united drugs. The Chinese pharmacopoeia, new pharmaceutics and clinical experience are regarded as the reference. According to the WHO's suggestion, drug using index are used as the standard to evaluate and analyze the antibiotics usage.Results: The ratio of antibiotic utilization of infection inpatients is higher than normal standard, the ratio also outrun the MOH and WHO criterion seriously. The doctors seldom use the oral antibiotics drugs. They also adopt unreasonable consociation usage of medicine and wrong category. The check of pathogeny didn't do in time. All the inpatients didn't receive the examination of drug sensitivity.
