Objective: By investigating the effect of different heat treatment modes and technical operation on Candida albicans adherence to the surface of heat-curing resin base in vitro, this study was to provide the theoretical basis for the clinical selection of correct heat treatment modes and operating method so as to decrease the Candida albicans adherence to the surface of heat-curing resin base. Methods: 1. Die preparation: The metal die was made with a precision machine tool and 6 die cavities ( 12mm×10mm×2mm ) in the die were used to make the experimental specimens with standard size. 2. Specimen preparation and grouping: Clinically common Heraeus-made heat-curing resin denture base was selected and made into 8 groups of flaky resin specimens (7 specimens / group). Group A (progressive heating-up heat treatment group): At 24℃of room temperature, poured the powder and the monomer into the special-use mixing cup according to the powder/liquid ratio provided by the manufacturer(23.4g:10ml)and well stirred them for 30 seconds, then put the cover on the cup and place the mixture until the dough-forming period, filled the stainless steel...
