| Objective: In order to collect and sort data about AIDS/HIV in Lishui city, and to estimate the scale of the epidemic situation; To assess comprehensively economy of an AIDS affected area; Some workable methods of correspondences which are fit for Lishui city will be given. Methods: By way of collecting information, investigating by questionnaires in the locality and fact to fact interview and so on to make a based survey, so that estimated local size of AIDS by WORKBOOK method; And used respectively direct calculation and human capital method to reckon up direct and indirect economic burden. At last a rough estimate of the lost of economy by AIDS will be made; By means of analyzing the situation and calling resource, some practicable answers were given. Result: AIDS/HIV is epideming at low level in Lishui city ,but Now the danger signals exist still because of low economic level and a large number mobile people(about 880 ten thousand) there.The rate of knowing knowledge of every crowd about AIDS is still a bit poor, and that of common crowd, young student and sex worker was respectively 68.06%,74.69% and 56.63%. It was found that sex workers and drug users have no formal occupation by fact to fact interview, and they think that sex workers and drug users were numerous. Little knowledge about preventing diseases was exchanged among sex workers, and they were worry about gynaopathy or STD. It is pointed out that high quality but cheap medical treatment will be workable to intervene them. Most of drug users know some knowledge about AIDS, so they should be intervened by helping them to do away with drug addiction.Many sex workers knew about their companions, and drug user had wide social connections.
