A Clinical Observation On The Influence Of Irrigating Solution Of Shuang Huang Lian On The Therapeutic Effect Of ESS For Chronic Sinusitis

Objective: To investigate the influence of irrigating solution of Shuang Huang Lian, given after operation on the therapeutic effect of ESS for chronic sinusitis.Methods: ShuangHuanLian Liquid was used to irrigate the operated sinus cavity lasted for weeks among 101 cases with chronic sinusitis(type II) treated by ESS and 0.9% N .S.was used to irrigate the operated sinus cavity treated by ESS in the same way among 100 cases with control in Gugang yuan hospital.and Yuan ma hospital from Augest 2001 to April 2004. Then a comparison was made between the two groups for the influence of different irrigating solutions on the therapeutic effect of ESS on these on the target and follow up above six months.Results :The total efective ratio of the group with irrigating solution of ShuangHuangLian was significantly higher than that with0.9% N.S.for cases(p<0.05)Conclusion: Irrigating solution of Shuang Huan Liang used after operation can improve the therapeutic effect of ESS for chronic sinusitis.
