| Objection: Students in quan zhou were universal checked , to investigate the incidence of the scoliosis and the rule of the scoliosis distributing among school age population in quan zhou. it is a base for developing the prevention and cure of the scoliosis in quan zhou, the investigation data may fill up the vacancy about this facet of the medical treatment stat, and it can provid a scientific basis for the government establishing the measure of prevention and controlling the development of this disease and also provid the golden data and the abundant experience for fujian province developing the investigate of this facet。Methods: 21112 students between 7 to 18 years old in 11 primary and junior middle schools were checked for scliosis with three steps of 1) scoliosis physical examination, 2)measuring back angle and 3)radiography , finally the Cobb's angle was measured,when Cobb≥10°, it was diagnosed scliosis。Result: 158 students were definitely diagnosed to have scoliosis with a prevalence of 0. 748%, the rate was 0. 688%(78/11336) in males and 0. 818%(80/9776) in females,The male/female ratio was 0.841/1, There was no marked qualitative difference between The incidence of scoliosis in male and female totally (P >0.05) , but between 12 and 14 years old, There was a marked difference (P <0.05); we draw a comparison of The incidence of scoliosis in 7~14 years old and 15~18 years old in male, There was a marked qualitative difference (P< 0.01); the same way, we draw a comparison of The incidence of scoliosis in 7~13 years old and 14~18 years old in female, There was a marked qualitative difference (P<0. 01) ; There was a marked difference, when we draw a comparisonof The incidence of scoliosis in 7—13 years old and 14-18 years old (P<0. 05) ? The Cobb's angle was 10"—19" in 129(81. 65%), 20 "~39" in 21 (13. 29%), more than 40 "in 8(5. 06%) ;The main abnormality was idiopathic scolidsis in 153, accounting for 96.84%, the connatural scoliosis in 4, accounting for 2.53%, the paralytic scoliosis in 1, accounting for 0.63%; the scoliosis at thorax in 49, the left protruding in them in 10 and the right protruding in them in 39; the scoliosis at the thorax-waist in 50, the left protruding in them in 31 and the right protruding in them in 21; the scoliosis at waist in 40, the left protruding in them in 33 and the right protruding in them in 5 ; the right protruding was more than the left protruding in the scoliosis at thorax(39/49), the left protruding was more than the right protruding in the scoliosis at the thorax-waist (30/50), the left protruding was more than the right protruding in the scoliosis at the waist(33/40); the apical acanthi in the idiopathic scoliosis:in the scoliosis at thorax of 49, it was mostly seen at T8s T9; in the scoliosis at thorax-waist of 50, it was mostly seen at Tns Ti^ Li; in the scoliosis at waist of 40, it was mostly seen at Us L30Conclusion: 1> The rate of scoliosis in quan zhou was on the low side, but the patient' s age was Abnormally large, Cobb' s angle with more than 20° was more , A colleague was an associate in not developing general investigation of this facet, it was suggested that the medical institution should strengthen the educational propaganda and the measure of prevention and cure about scoliosis. it was advocated that we should launch energetically general investigation and improve the level of health care in adolescence of our country. 2s in the adolescent Scoliosis . its Incidence in female was more high than in male, the sick age was in conformity with the second puberty basically and the incidence of the scoliosis heighten too with the increasing age 3> It was showed that from the investigation questionnaire, lacking movements long - term bad position and excessive body heavy load was one of factors those evoke scoliosis.it was necessary to educate children to keep the right read-write or sitting-standing position and strengthen physical exercise and heighten the awareness of health care. 4s Scoliosis is put on the right protruding in the scoliosis at thethorax and the left protruding in the scoliosis at the waist. 5, in the scoliosis at thorax , it was mostly seen at T?> T.,; in the scoliosis at thorax-waist , it was mostly seen at Tu, Ti2> Li;in the scoliosis at waist , it was mostly seen at L2> L3. 6^ the investigation of scoliosis among school-age population is of great importance for early dignosis and effective prevention and treatment of scoliosis, and through early beening found, it could been early treated and gotthe best effective cureo... |
